Delaney Banzhof is a counseling intern and graduate student at Mercer University, where she is
pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She earned her bachelor’s degree in
psychology with honors, along with a minor in Sociology, from Wilson College in 2022. She
developed a love for research in college, and now uses research and evidence-based practices to tailor interventions that best meet her clients’ needs.

Delaney uses a person-centered and social constructivist approach to counseling, recognizing the
importance of each client’s unique social and cultural experiences and perspectives in shaping their growth and healing journey. She believes in empowering clients by helping them understand and build on their strengths within the context of their own lives.

Passionate about supporting neurodivergent adolescents and adults, Delaney specializes in helping individuals navigate challenges related to identity, relationships, and mental well-being. As someone who identifies as neurodivergent, she brings a personal understanding to her practice and strives to create a safe, empathetic, and inclusive space for her clients.
