Michael Epstein, MD

Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychiatrist

Dr. Michael Epstein is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist. He treats patients across the lifespan, with extensive experience working with children, teenagers, and their families, while also providing thoughtful, comprehensive care for adults. He offers both in-person and telehealth services, specializing in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and OCD.

Dr. Epstein completed his psychiatry residency at Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, followed by fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Cleveland Clinic. He has previously worked with the University of Southern California (USC), Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, the University of California Riverside, and Emory Healthcare.

He focuses on thoughtful, evidence-based medication management and takes a collaborative approach to care. Dr. Epstein believes treatment works best when patients and families feel heard, understood, and actively involved. His style is warm, structured, and down-to-earth, creating a space where children, teens and adults feel comfortable being themselves while parents and loved ones feel supported and informed.

Outside of work, Dr. Epstein enjoys building ambitious Lego creations, exploring new cities and restaurants, and diving into video games — hobbies that help him stay curious, creative, and connected to the interests many of his younger patients share.
