Tatiana Kisil Matthews

Tatiana Matthews has been providing professionalism, hope, and humor to her patients since 1998. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) in Georgia and North Carolina, and is the Founder and Clinical Director of Atlanta Specialized Care (ASC)—a concierge-level mental health and rehabilitation counseling practice with offices in Alpharetta and Dunwoody, Georgia.
Tatiana earned her Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling, specializing in addiction and mental health, from East Carolina University. She completed her clinical training at Duke University Medical Center.
With extensive experience across academic, hospital, and private-practice settings, Tatiana provides individual, couples, family, and group therapy for adolescents and adults. Her clinical expertise includes anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, executive functioning, emotional regulation, addictions, co-dependency, and treatment resistance. She is also a respected community educator and frequent speaker on mental health, parenting, neurodiversity, workplace wellness, and trauma-informed care.
Tatiana practices from a holistic and highly personalized lens—integrating the mind, body, spirituality, family system, academics, vocation, and lifestyle. When requested, she incorporates a Christian perspective. Her style is direct yet supportive, grounded in compassion, accountability, and the philosophy that therapy should empower individuals without shame.
Tatiana is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and believes that effective therapy must be anchored in research. She ensures that all interventions used at ASC are evidence-based and supported by clinical data, and she leads the practice in maintaining ongoing quality-assurance measures to monitor progress and track treatment outcomes—ensuring patients receive interventions proven to be effective.
In her role as Clinical Director, Tatiana is actively expanding ASC’s innovative service lines, including Rapid Access Assessments and Workplace Optimization Programs, helping organizations improve employee well-being, retention, and productivity.
Tatiana is also the author of Fred the Fox Shouts “NO!”, an adult’s guide to discussing sexual-abuse prevention with children. Illustrated by Allison Fears, the book empowers caregivers to teach children about body safety in a developmentally appropriate and protective way.
